Care & Warranty
Our jewelry is carefully handcrafted. We provide a one-year warranty covering manufacturing and material defects under normal use. Damage caused by impact or improper care is not included. Gentle signs of daily wear are natural and part of your jewel’s story. Discover our care tips below.
14K Gold
Our jewelry is crafted from 14-karat gold: an alloy made of 58.5% pure gold, strengthened with copper, silver and zinc. This composition offers the ideal balance of durability, shine and luxury. Gold is naturally a highly sustainable material: it lasts a lifetime and can be endlessly recycled without losing its quality. At narrae, we consciously choose recycled gold to minimize our impact on the planet. All of our gold jewelry is hallmarked and certified by Waarborg Holland, carrying both the official 585 stamp and our own responsibility mark.
To preserve the beauty of your gold jewelry, we recommend:
- Avoiding contact with aggressive cleaning agents, acids and perfumes.
- Preventing hard impacts, drops or excessive pressure on delicate parts (such as links or clasps).
- Gently cleaning your jewelry with a soft cloth, only when needed.
Although 14-karat gold is stronger than pure gold, it remains a precious metal and can still be sensitive to deformation or breakage if handled carelessly.
All our gold jewelry comes with a one-year warranty covering material and manufacturing defects. Damage caused by drops, impacts, scratches or improper use is excluded from warranty.
Gemstones
At narrae, we work exclusively with natural gemstones, carefully selected for their beauty, quality and origin. Each stone is hand-cut and set by our trusted partner in India: an RJC-certified family atelier dedicated to ethical and sustainable craftsmanship. For sourcing, they collaborate only with reliable partners who respect both people and nature. Because we work with natural materials, every gemstone is unique. Subtle variations in color, inclusions or structure are a sign of authenticity and add distinctive character to each piece.
Every gemstone requires its own specific care. We recommend wearing gemstone jewelry mindfully and storing pieces separately. See the care tips per stone below for detailed guidance.
All gemstone jewelry comes with a one-year warranty covering material and manufacturing defects. Please note: natural inclusions, color variations and regular signs of wear are not covered. Damage from drops, impacts or contact with aggressive substances is excluded from warranty.
